Rise - Part I

A thesis concept which was conceptualized back in December 2017 and finalized in May 2020.

This is a short summary of part 1 of the story, where a young alien woman named Serenity of the planet Aviara is given her role in her society to protect a human's life. However, a young man named Elios warns her of a brewing rebellion against one of the rulers of the planet, Koru. Despite the warning, Serenity is caught in the crossfire, leading to her older sister's disappearance and the destruction of her society. She rises up against the leader of the uprising, Aleron, and vows to take back her home.

I am very proud of this piece as I believe it demonstrates everything that I have learned through my 4 years in college. Thank you wholeheartedly for watching. :)

(I plan to work on and publish a book that goes deeper into the lore of the story, so keep an eye out for that!)
